Radio DJ's

I was offered the chance to photograph some head shots for a radio station company in town that holds several of the local stations.  I'm telling you what...if you think it might be fun to hang out with kids a lot, you should get the opportunity to hang out with a bunch of radio DJ's all at one time.  Hilarious people I tell you.  So much fun.  

We took everyone's head shots.  (here's just a couple)

But the station manager also had a vision for a commercial so we got a lot of shots for the commercial too.  I can't wait to see how it turns out!!!  

Hannah, Kindergarten graduate

Graduating from Kindergarten is such a big milestone....definitely a photo worthy moment in life.  Hannah will be off to 1st grade next year!

Kristine, newborn

You might remember this set of maternity pictures I did a while back.  Well, that tiny bump became beautiful Miss Kristine.  She ended up being small, but not really that tiny!  I tell you every time it amazes me - the birth of a child that is - at how a tiny little person was just inside that tummy!

Anyway, I digress.  Kristine was such an easy baby...slept through most anything and was pretty easily pose-able.  Just a dream baby...

Case in point?  This first picture (of that tiny little smile) was literally THE first picture I took.  :)

I love having generational shots!  So special...

Brenna, dance recital

My tiny dancer had her recital the end of May - and I had to take the opportunity to get some pictures of my beautiful ballerina in her costumes.  First up, is her ballet outfit -

Preschool School pictures

I was honored to have been asked to take the school pictures for a local preschool.  It takes a lot of organization to pull it off (which thankfully I have...some might call it OCD, I say I'm organized ;) and a great deal of patience...but working with preschoolers is soooo much fun.  They each bring so much personality I can't help but have a good time.  Here's a couple of different shots (I think I photo'd 36? kids, but will only share one or two as the setups are similar)

Rowan and Avery

I was so fortunate to get to take this sweet girl's pictures in the hospital when she was born (my other job) and have seen her brother on a few occasions now.  So I was thrilled when I got to see her just a few weeks later.  Its amazing how quickly they grow!  She went from this sleepy newborn to this wide awake alert little person!  Such a sweet family too.  :)

In this next one, I love how you can REALLY tell these two are brother and sister! :)
